Birds

PICTURES BELOW:

The Green Tailed Towhee (Fall 2011) really kicked off my interest in birds and although Bill Fontenot had planted that seed many moons ago, the birder in me did not hatch until this rascal showed up one crisp morning. I've been into photography for a while and was walking around taking morning landscape photos when I noticed a bird I did not recognize. I snapped a series of shots and went about my business. Later that night I downloaded the pics and looked in the ol bird book...and....well that's not supposed to be here...hmmm better ask Bill.  Seven years later and I can't get enough time in the field looking for winged things. Here is the property list so far. (195) species as of 5/2/2021
